Our client is seeking a Senior Network Operations Technical Support person to provide support in the Operations Center. The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of our client's products and services. The individual will administer, monitor, operate, maintain the networks and provide technical support by troubleshooting system and network anomalies. Responsibilities include:Provide Tier III Technical Support to the Operations Center ensuring uninterrupted, unimpaired service of our client's systems.Troubleshoot and provide engineering solutions for new service implementations, equipment installation and configuration, and fault restoration. Analyze issues to provide high reliability data communications.Provide technical assistance and support to a Cisco based, MPLS network with 10 core sites and xxxx+ remote sites.Assist and support the Operations Center Incident Management staff in fault isolation procedures.Provide operational support to implementation and engineering efforts within our client's wide area network (WAN) and server farm environments.Work with onsite field technicians, or service provider staff to isolate faults and correct any network or service affecting failure.Provide technical leadership to less experienced members of the Operations Center.Ability to work in a 24x7 operations center, standard second & third shift with possibility of rotating weekends and on call rotation.Other duties as assigned.Senior Network Operations Technical Support
