Description:
Designs and tests new integrated circuits and hardware components for a wide variety of signal processing applications and research. Designs, documents and develops code, including firmware, for digital signal processors or other programmable hardware devices such as Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) hardware. Analyze the function of existing components for the purpose of reverse engineering the hardware and firmware. Conducts the necessary hardware engineering and related functions to meet special needs and contingencies.
Qualifications:
(ET1) Level 0 : BS in EE or Computer Engineering w/ 0 yrs experience OR 5 yrs experience w/o degree
(ET2) Level 1 : BS in EE or Computer Engineering w/ 3 yrs experience OR 8 yrs experience w/o degree
(ET3) Level 2 : BS in EE or Computer Engineering w/ 7 yrs experience OR 12 yrs experience w/o degree
(ET4) Level 3 : BS in EE or Computer Engineering w/ 12 yrs experience OR 17 yrs experience w/o degree
TS/SCI W/Poly Clearance Required.
