If you are working or aspiring to work in todays United States Intelligence Community...NOW is the time to join CACI National Security Solutions The Intelligence Solutions Team has an immediate opportunity for a Veteran Farsi Linguist in Annapolis Junction, MD. A Veteran Linguist is distinguished by their combined foreign language proficiency, target knowledge and cryptologic experience.
Veteran Linguists may be expected to, but not limited to, perform the following tasks:
Produce accurate and polished translations, ensuring the final version is an accurate rendition of the original material
Perform final quality control of translations produced by other linguists
Draft and edit summaries based on various forms of written material
Provide online or in person assistance to other linguists
Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of transcription, translation or other language:related cryptologic experience
Performance at Level 3 in listening, reading and translation as defined by the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) or Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) is required
Must have excellent command of the English language
Must possess knowledge and ability to produce translations independently.
Must have demonstrated superior and professional competency in their previous assignments and positions.
