Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Business Manager for the Undersea Systems Business Unit. This position will be located in Annapolis MD. The position requires some travel to customer Locations. This position will be a direct report to the Undersea Systems Director of Business Management and matrix to the Undersea Warfare Program Director. The Business Manager will lead the business management team and have the following roles and responsibilities: Partner with the Organizational Unit and/or Program Director to manage all financial aspects to achieve the financial and strategic objectives. Develop the business unit long-range strategic plan and annual operating plan Orchestrate all business management functions including contracts, pricing, proposal development, program planning & financial control, financial planning, program scheduling, direct and indirect rate management etc. Oversee forecasting, work authorization, implementation of EV reporting, rate management, NCTAs, EACs/ETCs, Indicated Finals, financial reporting, etc Oversee numerous contracts in various contract phases The ideal candidate must have broad experience in financial planning and analysis, program finance, variance analysis, EVMS, customer influence, and strategic planning. Must have demonstrated ability to perform independent risk analysis and cost/schedule performance assessments leveraging solutions that create business value to the customer and company. In addition, the candidate will have demonstrated success providing direction and guidance to Technical and Business Management staff regarding Company policy, program operations and performance. The successful candidate will maintain the highest level of commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls in adherence to company values and ethics, and must have a proven track record in leading a diverse team.
