Looking for MEDICAL BILLING ASSISTANT ! Part/Full time $800+/wk in Annapolis, Maryland For Sale

This position primarily processes and documents transactions on patient accounts. This person interacts with patient and insurance companies in resolution of unpaid balances, refunds and other billing issues.
Duties include but not limited to:
? Communicating with patient and third-party contacts (i.e. patients and insurance companies) to ensure timely and accurate processing of account transactions.
? Provide excellent customer service. Demonstrate excellent telephone skills; maintain professionalism with all types of callers; ability to explain complex policies and insurance terminology to callers with various knowledge levels.
? Obtain patient payments over the phone.
? Process insurance claim denials.
? Preparing claims for submission.
? Preparing patient statements.
Minimum Qualifications
? A positive attitude; comfortable with change; Must be able to work with a diverse team
? Accurate data entry skills and proficiency with standard office equipment and software such as Windows 7, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
? Proven experience meeting daily production standards.
? Problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work with deadlines while remaining calm, flexible and organized.
? Customer service experience
? High school diploma or equivalent required.
