Approximately 80% of CyberEdge's clients have a core focus on information security.
CyberEdge is currently recruiting product marketing and custom research contractors based in the United States to service our 50+ high-tech vendor clientele. Our contractors are not employees. They are career-focused product marketing consultants that work with high-tech vendors across a wide spectrum of industries to perform a variety of tasks, including:
Product Marketing initiatives:
Creating content for technical- and business-focused white papers
Authoring custom books and eBooks focused on "categories" of enterprise IT products
Developing content for product collateral, such as data sheets, solution briefs, and customer case studies
Writing content for blogs, websites, and media bylines
Generating competitive intelligence and creating competitor battle cards
Facilitating custom research studies by analyzing results from web-based market research surveys
Serving as an "Interim Product Marketing Manager" on a retainer basis for 20, 30, or 40 hours per week
Research initiatives:
Customizing an online survey, analyzing results, and writing a report for custom research studies
Facilitating an annual customer satisfaction and loyalty study
Driving a multinational brand awareness study
Contributing to CyberEdge's annual Cyberthreat Defense Report multi-vendor research study
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of five years of high-tech product marketing and/or market research experience. Experience working with information security vendors is a plus.
B.S. or B.A. undergraduate degree
Impeccable writing skills with an ability to grasp new technologies quickly
Outstanding project management skills with the ability to create and stick to a project schedule
Available home office space with computer, software, printer, and Internet access
Career-focused consultant preferred (i.e, in between jobs acceptable, too)
IT security certifications (e.g., CISSP, ISSAP, CISM) are a plus
